The Clipper Race stopped at the brand new Wanda Marina and Yacht Club, Qingdao for the first time and wow - what a welcome! A vibrant and colourful parade greeted the fleet as the yachts concluded Race 8: The Sailing City Qingdao Cup. The crew enjoyed the sights and sounds of the Sailing City by visiting a local primary school, playing football at the FC Bayern Football School and exploring local temples, all ahead of one of the toughest races yet - Race 9: The Race to the Emerald City.
