Congratulations on making it through to week four and Dan Hardy has made sure we will finish with a bang! The former UFC athlete took part in the opening leg of the Clipper 2015-16 Race on board GREAT Britain and created four exercise episodes to help crew condition and strengthen their bodies for the challenge of racing across the world’s oceans. As the Clipper Race crew is made up from people from all walks of life and aged between 18 and 74, Dan has made sure the exercises start easy, though there are progression options – including the incredibly challenging ‘Bruce Lee’ push-up! Before beginning any exercise program, please consult your physician or healthcare professional to design an appropriate exercise prescription. If you experience any pain or difficulty with these exercises, stop and consult your healthcare provider.
