Race 8 of the Clipper 2017-18 Race, the Sailing City Qingdao Cup, was a race of extremes. After starting in the scorching heat in the waters off Sanya, the mercury dropped to almost freezing as the teams made their way north, all the time surrounded by the world's largest fishing fleet in the Yellow Sea.
