DoD Official: Years of Sequestration Caused Need for Larger Budget

Despite the increased funding in the fiscal year 2019 budget, it is not enough to fully restore the damage done to Defense Department facilities caused by years of sequestration spending cuts, a senior DoD official told Congress.
