Guard Bureau Chief: 965 Guard Troops Deployed To U.S.-Mexico Border

The chief of the National Guard Bureau told a Senate panel that there are 965 National Guard troops deployed to the U.S.-Mexico border, the first of up to 4,000 troops authorized by Defense Secretary James N. Mattis.
