DPAA Provides Update on Identifying Service Members Missing from Korean War

Officials from the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency updated reporters on the condition of the 55 boxes of Korean War remains returned from North Korea and outlined the steps necessary to identify each set of remains during a White House news conference.
The United Nations Command recently repatriated 55 transfer cases from North Korea that contain what are believed to be the remains of American service members lost in the Korean War.
