Face of Defense: Husband, Wife Become Citizen-Soldiers Together

Married for four years, Irene and Nate Miller each have wanted to join the military since they were young, and now they've both joined the Ohio Army National Guard.
Nate and Irene Miller of Geauga County, Ohio, take the oath together May 25, 2018, at the Military Entrance Processing Station in Cleveland. The couple, married for four years, enlisted together into the Ohio Army National Guard and are scheduled to go to basic training in October, and will be assigned to the 1484th Transportation Company, based in North Canton, Ohio.
