Nigerien Air Base 201 Sharpens Community Ties

U.S. Africa Command works through its host nation partners to promote peace and stability. The U.S. Army civil affairs team at Nigerien Air Base 201 contributes to this mission by reducing the Agadez area’s susceptibility to violent extremists and by growing trust between the local community and U.S. service members.
