Harris Corporation has been selected to provide an enhanced county-wide public safety communications solution that serves more than 1,300 users in Hialeah, Florida.
Harris will supply a state-of-the-art P25 Phase 1 and Phase 2 system to provide citywide coverage and modern services based on Harris' VIDA platform. Hialeah dispatchers will use the award-winning Symphony dispatch consoles. Harris says Hialeah will experience an enhanced level of interoperability with Miami-Dade County and neighbor municipalities Miami, Miami Beach, and Coral Gables since all have or are in the process of installing Harris P25 systems.
