The stand-out feature of the break-open variants is a set of rare earth magnets embedded in the extractor/ejectors that retain the vast majority of modern ammunition in the chamber -- even when the gun is turned upside down! No more dumping shells out of the gun while handling a dog or wrangling decoys, and no need to point the barrels down to reload the gun.
