To commemorate the final deorbit of the original Iridium satellite constellation provide a behind the scenes look at the satellite deorbiting process, including the start of deorbiting, or ‘retiring’, the lone remaining original satellite, SV097. As part of this event, Iridium executives will emphasize the importance of proactive space stewardship, sharing their thoughts on what defines being a responsible actor in space, given the speed that Iridium retired assets upon launch of Iridium NEXT.
