Capitol Police Arrest 128 Protesting Kavanaugh SCOTUS Nomination

Capitol Police on Monday arrested 128 people protesting the Supreme Court nomination of Brett Kavanaugh, The Hill reported.

According to authorities, 46 people were arrested in the Dirksen Senate Office Building, and another 82 people were removed from the Rotunda of the Russell Senate Office Building. The protesters were charged with crowding, obstructing, and unlawful demonstrations.

Two Republican senators and all 49 Democrats would need to vote "no" to prevent Kavanaugh from being confirmed.
