An off-duty officer with the Wilmington (DE) Police Department rushed into a city park and saw a man sexually assaulting a woman, according to DelawareOnline.

As the off-duty officer approached the assault scene, he was assisted by on-duty officers who were responding to a 911 call about the assault.

The officers found the victim semi-conscious with a stab wound to the upper torso.

They then arrested Joselito Rojas, who has been charged with first-degree rape, possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony, and resisting arrest.
